OUR HISTORY
Poma de CasaAlghero was born in 2020 after a profound and careful renovation of an old Dabaix.
"A dabaix " in the Catalan dialect means "Down, below", the ground floor in short, was the place where families spent their time during the day. We have created intimate and comfortable apartments, with characteristic vaulted ceilings with exposed stone.
Why did we choose this name? La Poma is the apple and in the dialect it was called la "poma de casa" the little girl of the family. Our holiday homes are the "little apples" they haveall you needfor a perfect holiday: Free WiFi, air conditioning, smart TV, self check-in, kitchenette with dishes, washing machine, dryer, fridge, safe and the convenience of a ground floor and above all independent house.
But our strong point is undoubtedly theposition, the historic center is the heart and soul of Alghero, a few meters from churches and historic monuments, the tourist port, beaches, banks, supermarkets and the terminus of all city and tourist buses. "THIS LITTLE APARTMENT IS DOWN A QUIET LANEWAY, ONLY ONE BLOCK FROM THE WATER. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!"
location, for me, was superb. I was close to everything, yet could walk for miles along the waterfront, and was surrounded by restaurants and small wine bars. Yet it was so quiet, and it felt incredibly safe. It was a little like a cave but with everything I needed for the week.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT STAY IN ALGHERO!!
My husband and I are retired and full-time travelers (in our 5th year now) so Airbnb stays are our 'homes' - even for short stays as this one was for 3 nights. And we very much appreciate when we can be in a clean and comfortable home.
This little studio exceeded all of our expectations
Communication was PERFECT from my first inquiry.
Value was awesome!
Check-in was easy with a lockbox. (Arrived by city bus from airport for 1.30€ and then 5 minute walk!)
